Guy Heritage
Clinic Director
As Director, Guy leads The READy Clinic with over 15 years of teaching experience and specialized training in structured literacy. As a neurodivergent learner himself, he understands firsthand the challenges of learning to read and the confidence and independence that the right support can build. This perspective shapes his work with students, families, and the educators he supports.
Susanne Coutts
Education Director
Susanne leads the assessment process and supports program development at The READy Clinic. She works closely with students and families to understand each learner’s unique needs, helping them feel supported from the very beginning. With over sixteen years of teaching experience and a background in Special Education, she brings both expertise and compassion to her work as an instructor and assessment lead.
Jennifer McDonald
Instructor
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Jennifer works as a READy Clinic instructor, supporting students and families in a warm, encouraging environment. As a kindergarten literacy specialist, she is passionate about helping young learners grow into confident, joyful readers.
Doug Whiteside
Instructor
With over 20 years of teaching experience, Doug is an instructor at The READy Clinic who delivers our structured reading program with an energetic, fun and student-centered approach. He brings a strong focus on engaging students, helping spark interest while building skills, confidence, and a sense of success.
Donatella Chapman
Instructor
With over 25 years of teaching experience, Donna is an instructor at The READy Clinic who is passionate about one-to-one instruction. She works closely with students to meet their individual learning needs, creating a supportive environment where they can build skills and confidence. As a parent of a child with a learning difference, she brings both professional expertise and deep empathy to her work.
