Guy Heritage

As Director of Education, Guy provides service to our students and oversees the program across our tutoring team. He holds an undergraduate degree and a Master’s in Education. He is special Education, Barton trained, and has 15 years of experience as a certified teacher in the Toronto District School Board and private tutoring practice. 

​

Being neurodivergent himself, he knows the value of reading support programs - both for the skills they provide and the confidence and self-esteem they inspire.

Caitlyn Fontaine

Caitlyn is a certified teacher, and is dedicated to sharing her love of learning with her students. She recently completed her Master's in Education at the University of Ottawa. Caitlyn has worked with a wide range of students to help them establish solid foundations to reach new levels of accomplishment; her greatest joy is to watch her student's confidence grow.

Kathleen Wilenski

Kathleen is a lifelong learner who loves to share her enthusiasm with young people.  She has an Honours BA in Sociology, a teaching certificate and her Masters of Education from the University of Ottawa. She is passionate about Special Education and hopes to inspire others to learn and grow!

Cynthia Hunter

Cynthia has spent more than thirty years in the classroom. Her experience includes teaching in all divisions (primary, junior and intermediate), having spent more than ten years in each. She is a Reading Specialist and has a variety of AQ courses, including Writing, Special Ed and ESL. A passionate lifelong learner, she enjoys helping cultivate a love of learning in her students.

Mary Katsis

Mary has been a reading specialist for over 30 years and is passionate about helping students with dyslexia and other learning differences become more proficient readers. Mary works with students on their way to becoming fluent readers by teaching them reading strategies, how to use dictionaries and word searches, and how to do research in print sources.

Maggie!

Maggie is our mascot, and the spirit of the READy Clinic. She provides unconditional love and support to everyone she meets and is always ready to come on camera to say hello to our students!

David Terminesi

Dave has been an Educator for over 30 years, and his background is in Special Education. Dave has spent the last 20+ years working with Primary aged students, where he gained a great deal of experience that I think will be invaluable to The Ready Clinic. He loves reading and playing slow-pitch.
